Beauty of Koh Yao Noi

Beauty of Koh Yao Noi

We only got to spend a couple of days in Koh Yao Noi, but it was simply the most beautiful part of Thailand that we visited on this trip. In our only time away from the bustle of big cities and tourist hot spots, we were reminded of the verdant natural beauty that Southeast Asia has to offer.

Here are some pictures I took of the natural beauty of Koh Yao Noi. Of course, it’s mostly stunning beaches, with views of the Andaman Islands across the sea. The views from every side of this island were priceless. Amongst the photos, there are also some shots of the little patterns the crabs make on the beach through their feeding habits. Nathan and I explored an island that is only accessible by sandbar when the tide is low, but isolated when the tide is high. There we saw a tree growing up through the water. I got some pretty cool shots of the islands and boats as well. When we rode our scooters around the island and travelled through the rice patties, I got some shots of the water buffalo who live out there. Another gorgeous natural vision.
